As an Angolan, African American, British born black girl I embody the term: diaspora. I aim to create opportunities for all who fit that label. 

 

I am an Assistant Vice President in a global Investment Bank, but I find the true value of my job in the Diversity and Inclusion work that I lead there. From running CV workshops for  under privileged school kids entering the workplace, linking military personnel to our HR team to help the transition to civilian life, to mentoring young female undergraduates on how to become working women. I do what I can to use my knowledge and to link my network with those who could benefit. This led me to being employee of the year at the bank.

 

I love art, its where my passions and talents lie. I am a board member of a government funded theatre company where we do lots of great work with the community. I’m also an artist and business owner; I donate the profits from my art store to various charities.
