About Us

The Miss Africa GB pageant (Formerly Black Africa UK pageant) was founded in 2011. The pageant was formed with the sole purpose of giving young African girls born or living in the United Kingdom a platform to showcase not only their beauty but most importantly their culture, talent and creativity. The pageant is highly competitive and seeks to bring out those leadership qualities in women. The winner becomes a goodwill ambassador for Miss Africa GB, charged with designing and implementing a charity program based on her Pageant Platform.

The foundation thereby supports the winner in executing their platform in serving humanity and making our world a better place. Over the last three years, our Queens have devoted their time to charity work in the UK and Africa.

In addition to charitable giving, this pageant aims at promoting African culture, tourism and lifestyle to the wider world.

The competition is part of the Miss Africa GB Pageant and Charity Awards. In addition to the beauty competition, the Grand Finale is a Charity Award ceremony recognizing individuals and organisations that have in one way or another contributed immensely to a good cause.

  • Through the Miss Africa GB Pageant (formerly Miss Black Africa Pageant), we aim to provide a platform on which young girls can use to pursue or facilitate their dreams. We do this through strategic networking, community involvement and mentoring.
  • At the Charity Awards section, we take time to honour individuals and organisations that have selflessly contributed to the development of their communities in the UK or abroad. They are presented with their award on stage at the Miss Africa GB Pageant & Charity Awards.
  • Every year, we organise charity fundraising events. These events provide a fun environment for our guests as we come together to raise money for a good cause.
